Have you ever noticed how most right-wing conservatives don’t like to talk about the facts and records of their beloved leaders like “w” and the Congressional republicans? Whenever the fact is pointed out that they took the largest surplus in history and turned it into the largest budget deficit in history with a huge national debt we will pass on to future generations all they can talk about is how gays and liberals are ruining our country and that God talks to “w.” They are masters at changing the subject. No party in history has spent and borrowed more than this republican controlled Congress and president yet all they want to harp on is changing the one financially secure program left in D.C. – the social security system. They certainly don’t have much to show for all their spending. We still have more jobless than when they came into office and the stock market is lower than it was five years ago. They have spent billions of dollars and suffered thousands of casualties on a needless war on a country that didn’t attack us or have WMD and yet we still haven’t caught the ring leader of 911. I wonder what Jesus would have done? All “w” can say is he could care less where Bin Laden is and besides he has more important things to do like cut taxes on millionaires and corporations just as God told him. In order to deflect attention away from their endless failures they use fear and false patriotism to stymie criticism. These are the tactics of cowards and liars.
If any politician dares challenge them, they sic their paid partisan right wing talk show hosts and swift boat liars on them to discredit their honorable and heroic war service to the country; ex: McCain and Kerry. No wonder they don’t want to talk about the facts. If the public could really see past all the smoke and Christian hypocrisy they would demand some accountability. As long as the media let them get away with it they will continue to rape and pillage our Constitution, governmental agencies and Treasury. So the next time you have a conversation with a right winger just bring some facts up and watch them scream and call you names or run away. Why do you think they like their radio and T.V. programs? They control who gets to talk and ask questions with no follow up. I wonder if the next president will have that luxury? I know Clinton didn’t but of course Clinton never claimed to be God’s right hand man here on earth that doesn’t make any errors like “w.” Maybe that’s his secret. Claim to be the second coming and the media and public will give you a pass. I’ll try that at work the next time I waste a trillion dollars on a needless project.
