Some local right wing extremists who copy other writers comments seem so delusional their comments don’t even deserve a response. They use revisionist history to interpret their skewed view of our country. They are so intellectually dishonest they make “w” look like a paragon of virtue and integrity. In “w-world” if things aren’t going well just rename the failure. Example, “The War on Terror” has been changed to “G. - S.A.V.E.” Global Struggle Against Violent Extremism. There is no more talk of “the Axis of Evil” or Weapons of Mass Destruction. “W” created the terrorist monster we now call Iraq and it is destroying us. 64% of the public now know they were lied to about Iraq. No need to scare the public any longer with the politics of 911 fear because it served it’s purpose of electing “W.” Congress now wants the public to feel warm and fussy before the mid-terms next year. They move on to another area of deceit. Maybe more gay baiting will do the trick again. Why don’t you just leave them alone? If Bush is so against extreme violence maybe he should start by declaring war on anti-abortion killers, gay haters, white supremacists and other assorted Christian terrorists in this country first. Oh but I forgot, they all vote republican. Forget that. This all sounds a lot like “no child left behind” which is code for educational cuts. Career opportunity is code for unemployment. False science and far out theory are code for global warming and evolution; the “death tax” for “estate tax” and “long term financial management opportunities” for deficits. These ongoing euphemisms are Bush/Rove, Orwellian synonyms for “lies.” They even call the treason of exposing a CIA operative agent “just normal politics.” Whenever they fail or are caught lying they use smoke and mirrors by saying they are realigning or restructuring their policies. It’s all P.R. to Bush/Rove. This in spite of the fact that Iraq is getting worse. How convenient. How many voters will be fooled this time? Maybe all the chicken hawk tough guys can enlist and help “w” save face. Where in the world is Waldo Bin Laden? When all else fails and it becomes obvious that “w’s” glorious “democratization of the Arab world” collapses, just go on another aircraft carrier in a flight jacket, color coded t-shirts for the troops, strut around and declare “mission accomplished” again. Every time Egypt, England, Indonesia and Spain experience terrorist bombings “w” says, “I guess we showed them there trrrrist didn’t we?” I don’t want to misunderestimatate the common sensicalessness of the American people but I don’t know how much more success and victory this country can take in the right wing extremists and “w’s” fantasy world.
